Are you a reliable HGV professional looking for a stable, long term role? Panda, Ireland's largest waste management business, is currently seeking a dedicated Lorry Driver to join our team at our Limerick depot (Dock Road).

The Role

This is a full time, permanent position operating out of Unit 7, Dock Road, Limerick. You will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles including Skips, Rolos, RELs, and Curtainsiders.

• Competitive Pay: €18.02 per hour.
• Daily Bonuses: Receive a €15 attendance bonus and a €5.00 KPI bonus.
• Subsistence Allowance: An extra €17.92 per day is provided.

Schedule & Work Life Balance

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturday work as required).
• Working Hours: 06:00 to 18:00 (Standard shift length).
• Break: 30 minute unpaid break daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly vehicle safety checks.
• Efficiently manage assigned routes for skip deliveries, collections, and waste disposal.
• Maintain accurate electronic and written records/run sheets.
• Communicate professionally with the transport office and customers.

What We're Looking For

• Licence: A valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional HGV driving experience.
• Compliance: Current Digital Tachograph Card and up to date Driver CPC qualification.
• Insurance: Candidates must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Limerick area and a good sense of direction.
• Safety First: A commitment to safe driving practices and manual handling standards.
