In this exciting new role as our Senior Retail Operations Lead FTC, you will review and improve retail processes and ways of working by running customer and in store friendly trials that are clearly measured. Any successful trials will be rolled out to support a clear, simple, and easy ways of working.
While maintaining a clear focus on the payroll model ensuring high integrity and introducing process and method improvement from trials asappropriate. Develop improved understanding across retail on productivity and the use of the wages budget.
Building close relationships with all supportcentrefunctions and retail field teams are important to gain real life intelligence on projects and potential future opportunities and risks to retail.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities- Working closely with the Senior Retail Trade Lead to ensure that all Trade Activity is well planned, and resource reviewed in line with execution
- Ensure all projects and trials are scheduled within the retail activity plan to deliver an easily executable benefit right first time
- Maintain close relationships with retail finance to ensure that all trials and projects are objectively measured, and clear impact/capability assessment is conducted prior to being proposed to be placed on the RAP
- Manage all non trade related activity and relationships with non trade functions within the business (IT excluded)
- Develop the lean and easy ethos throughout the retail team to assist with the further discovery of potential improvements. Deliver support and challenge in the use of the payroll model and wage control within retail
- Create a close relationship with all departments to ensure the impact on change activity is considered within store payroll
- Strong retail experience and detailed awareness of store and regional processes within New Look
- Proven communication and influencing skills
- High emotional intelligence, able to challenge and accept challenge professionally
- Experienced multi site retail management at a senior level
- Customer focussed (both internal & external) commercial attitude
- High focus on business profitability
- Strong and demonstrable leadership skills
