• Role: Daily Nanny
• Children: Baby boy (7 months) and girl (3.5 years)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 12.30pm - 7.30pm, with flexibility for babysitting and occasional weekend support
• Salary: Top hourly rate, plus an excellent 24-hour proxy parenting rate when travelling

A warm, friendly and busy professional family based in Islington is seeking an experienced, proactive and nurturing Daily Nanny to care for their two young children: a baby boy aged 7 months and his older sister, aged 3.5 years, who attends nursery during the day.

This is a wonderful long term opportunity for a confident, career nanny who genuinely enjoys working with children at different developmental stages. During term time, the role will involve sole charge of the baby throughout the afternoon before collecting the older child from nursery at approximately 4.00pm, confidently managing both children and creating a calm, happy and stimulating environment.

The family is looking for someone who is naturally warm, organised and able to take initiative. They would love a nanny who enjoys supporting children's learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging good routines, independence and positive manners. Whilst both parents are very hands on when at home, they have demanding international careers and are looking for someone who can anticipate the children's needs and become a trusted member of the family.

A Spanish-speaking nanny would be a wonderful bonus, helping introduce the language naturally into the children's daily lives, although this is not essential.

The role includes frequent European and international travel for both work commitments and family holidays. During these periods, the nanny will assume full sole charge and proxy parenting responsibilities when both parents are working abroad. This will include providing 24 hour care, maintaining the children's routines, organising activities and outings, managing all travel logistics, ensuring the children's bags and supplies are fully stocked, arranging everything required for flights and travel days, and providing the consistency, reassurance and high level of care the children are accustomed to. A generous 24 hour rate will apply for all proxy parenting periods.

The successful candidate will also be available for occasional evening babysitting and some weekend support when required, working alongside the family's long standing daily housekeeper, who is a genuine team player.

The ideal nanny will have:

• Proven experience caring for babies and toddlers simultaneously.
• Previous experience providing proxy parenting and 24 hour sole charge.
• Extensive experience travelling with private families, both professionally and on holiday.
• Confidence managing two children of different ages independently.
• A warm, caring and positive nature.
• A proactive, organised approach with excellent initiative.
• A genuine interest in child development and early education.
• Excellent organisational skills, particularly whilst travelling.
• Flexibility to accompany the family internationally at short notice.
• Availability for occasional babysitting and weekend support.
• Spanish language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
