Job Description Job Summary: Based in the Raymarine Office, Fareham, UK.To support the management of the Warehouse and Distribution Function via our outsourced partners. This encompasses Transportation, Reverse Logistics & Value Add Operations across the Teledyne Business.Support the Global Logistics Manager in 3PL Operations, Customs Compliance Freight & Budgetary Management. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Daily Management of outsourced Logistics partner with respect to agreed Operational KPI's + Inbound/Outbound Operations + Customs Compliance + Returns Management + Carrier Performance - Customer Orders SKU Maintenance customs related data. Freight Forwarder Management. Parcel Carrier Management. Liaise with Teledyne Logistics Departments globally. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimise systems and procedures Adhere to import/export regulatory-compliance procedures. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximise compliance with customer needs within budget constraints Being seen as the central focus on all logistics issues, demonstrating continuous effort to improve operations, improve turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service, working with outsourced partners, internal customers and the wider Teledyne Business. Job Qualifications: At least 3 years' experience within Supply Chain Functions with focus on Logistics. Training will be provided on certain aspects of the role.Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.Good organizational skills.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
