Logistics Operator

On behalf of one of our prestigious clients in Switzerland, we are looking for a Logistics Operator for a 1-year temporary assignment at their Stein (AG) site.

You will play a key role in the management and dispensing of chemical and biological samples for internal research projects and external collaborations.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute research samples (chemical and biological) for testing on the company s platforms.

• Communicate with internal scientists to coordinate planning and meet technical specifications.

• Track requests using internal databases and make efficient use of IT tools provided.

• Act as a trusted point of contact for internal scientists (follow-up, answering questions, resolving issues).

• Ensure compliance with the company s HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and actively contribute to reporting incidents or observations.

Profile required:

• Languages: Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is essential. French is an advantage.

• Degree or relevant experience in science (biology, chemistry, or a research support role).

• Experience of sample logistic, ideally within the chemical, agrochemical or pharmaceutical industry.

• Proficient with IT systems (MS Office, web applications, databases, LIMS).

• Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage priorities.

• Team spirit, rigor, and attention to detail.
