Logistics Operations Supervisor

• Delegating all shipments that enter into the building to operations staff.
• Reviewing the outbound flight monitor and prioritize jobs.
• Monitoring / answering notes
• Assist other offices/departments with Operational Questions
• Ensuring the operation and maintenance of equipment within the facility
• Training and mentoring staff on operations procedures.
• Delegating the responsibilities within a given shift
• Overseeing the compliance with all TSA regulations
• Ensuring the management of cold chain shipments
• Ensuring a safe work environment
• Trouble shooting, problem management, issue resolution
• Monitoring shipment notes in the "ok to send" process as well as Operations emails and responding in a timely manner.
• Reviewing all shipments before they are dispatched for tender and processing shipments when needed
• Manage personnel issues
• Provide feedback on Associate performance and development
• Communicate all issues/problems/concerns/suggestions with Management
• Participate in vendor meetings where necessary

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, logistics or operations
• Previous logistics experience, preferably in relation to airfreight
• Effective oral and written communication in German and good language skills in English
• Solid team leader skill set - lead experience highly preferred
• Ability to represent a positive and professional image
• Able to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines; possess exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem solving, analytical and investigative skills to bring issues to resolution
• Flexibility in working shifts
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
