Join Gist Chesterfield as our Logistics Manager and lead the transport operation at the heart of our Primary business, shaping performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across a fast moving, critical environment serving Marks and Spencer's.

Salary: Up to £67,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Monday - Friday with flexibility to meet the business needs

What you'll do:

• You will plan and deliver all operations transport activities through your team of Transport Shift Managers, to ensure the required level of service is provided
• Effectively motivate, manage and inspire your team to develop and grow the skills of their team
• Drive Continuous Improvement within the operation
• Provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with M&S & our customers to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceeded

Who you are:

• Experience of working in a large, complex transport function - ideally within temperature controlled/FMCG distribution
• A passion for encouraging teamwork, with an innovative approach to leadership
• CPC License
• An analytical mindset with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics
• Relevant transport management systems knowledge
• Flexibility to work within a fast paced 24/7 business
