About the RoleWe're on the lookout for a confident and capable Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic Time Critical team based in Redditch. This is an office-based role where you'll take charge of ensuring vital shipments move from A to B-efficiently, cost-effectively, and most importantly, on time. Whether it's by air, road, or hand-carry, you'll be the calm in the chaos, coordinating critical deliveries and keeping customers informed every step of the way.
This isn't a role for the faint-hearted-if the phrase "line stoppage" doesn't scare you and you can juggle quotes, bookings, and problem-solving while sipping your morning brew, you're probably who we're looking for.
What You'll Be Doing in this Logistics Coordinator role- Booking and tracking UK/EU and international shipments
- Quoting transport solutions and offering multiple routing options
- Managing and resolving line stoppage emergencies like a pro
- Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
- Maintaining clear communication with customers and providing updates
- Closing out job files, chasing PODs and required documentation
- Monitoring KPIs and maintaining system data accuracy
- Collaborating with warehouse, operations, and accounts to ensure smooth workflows
- Always keeping one eye on cost-effectiveness and profit margins
- A transport/logistics background - UK, EU or international (European planning experience is essential)
- High attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases)
- Highly organised with a "can-do" attitude and a team-first mindset
- Ability to prioritise conflicting requirements and multitask effectively
- A second language is a plus, but not essential
- CPC qualification is a bonus
- Some weekend work required on a rota basis
- Salary of £32-36,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm ( hour break)
