Logistics & Dispatch Manager - North East England - £Highly Competitive

A company known for its creativity and cutting edge solutions is looking for a logistics and dispatch manager to supervise the company's storage and distribution of supplies and materials. You will be tasked with planning routes, analysing budgets and processing shipments all over the country.

• Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.
• Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
• Organising warehouse, labelling goods and processing shipments.
• Responding to any issues or complaints.
• Working with production department to incorporate logistics in line company procedures.
• Evaluating budgets and expenditures.
• Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
• Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.

Candidates can be from any manufacturing sector, but must have experience in a similar role, and an in-depth knowledge of inventory systems.

Overseeing daily logistical and dispatch operations will require someone with strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.

Applicants must be resident in the UK and have recently worked in the print, packaging or paper sectors.
