Logistics Administrative Assistant

Donnington - Telford - Head Office

Salary: £26,227.50 Per Annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

As a Logistics Administrative Assistant you will play a support role to carry out all administrative duties in relation to Distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Route plan all bulk orders, release orders into the system, set delivery dates for RDCs and support the RDCs with sending bulk orders directly through third party couriers daily.
  • Book shredding and FedEx collections for customers.
  • Follow processes for specific tasks.
  • Compile information as required by the Distribution Operations Manager and Regional Distribution Managers.
  • Carry out general SAP duties.
  • Support the Control Tower with holiday cover (3pm 11pm + shift allowance).
  • Plan large orders for customer specific deliveries.
  • Maintain vehicle records ensuring all V5s are filed and correct, updating tax and fuel card management.
Ideal Candidate
  • Can work cohesively within teams, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and align with cross functional partners.
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Extensive SAP knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • In the ideal case has proven logistics experience, but if you can demonstrate examples of efficient time and organisational skills you will be considered.
  • Willing and able to cover holiday's as and when required on the 3pm - 11pm shift.
