Locum Property Paralegal

Locum Property Paralegal - South East based Council - Full Time - Initial 3+ months - Up to £35 per hour Umbrella

Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Paralegal to join a South East based Council on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience supporting a busy local authority legal team across a broad range of Property Law matters.

Role Details

• Working Arrangement: Full-time, with ideally weekly office attendance however the team can be flexible on this
• Rate: Up to £35 per hour Umbrella
• Duration: Initial 3 months with likely extension
• Start: As soon as possible

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting the legal team with commercial and residential property transactions, leases, and general land related matters
• Assisting with drafting legal documentation and preparing case files
• Conducting legal research and summarising findings for the team
• Supporting solicitors with day to day casework and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth case management
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation to a high standard

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Property Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Legal Officer with exposure to property matters
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team and managing multiple tasks efficiently
