LOCUM PRACTICE NURSE DONCASTER GP SURGERY FLEXI HOURS £ £

Practice nurse urgently required in Doncaster. Dream Medical is working with a busy surgery in Doncaster. This teaching and training practice is looking for an experienced practice nurse to start immediately.

• Provide high quality patient care
• Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes
• Perform the administration and education of all types of immunisations including travel, seasonal, childhood vaccinations
• Provide health education advice around diet, smoking, lifestyle and sexual health
• Assist the Clinical Services Manager in maintaining equipment and stock levels relating to patient care
• Undertake collection, storage and dispatch of pathological specimens, including intravenous blood samples, swabs, smears, and other investigatory procedures requested by clinicians
• Assist in implementation and management of health & safety and infection control policies
• Support equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers and colleagues
• Accountable for own professional development and performance and act as a role model to others

• Current NMC registration
• Experience working within a GP surgery
• Flexible approach to working, especially covering early morning or evening sessions
