LOCUM NHS 111 CLINICAL ADVISOR - Taunton Somerset

£30-£52 per hour.

Dream Medical is working with a private provider to supply clinical advisors to their site in Somerset, Devon for the NHS 111 service.

We require Pathways trained clinicians, both nurses and paramedics, who have already been trained on the 111 system to take calls from the general public offering advice and guidance on health related issues in a telephone triage role.

The centre is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

Assist in telephone triage by taking calls from the general public, providing professional advice and guidance on health matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Pathways trained clinicians, nurses or paramedics.
• Clinical registration with either NMC or HCPC.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Successfully completed NHS Pathways training.
• Have taken a 111 call within the last 6 months.

Shifts range from short 6 hour days to long 12 hour shifts, covering 7 days a week including weekends.

Upon successful registration, a one day induction at the site will be required.
