Locum GP Urgently Required Ongoing Rota Friendly Practice Doncaster

Dream Medical is seeking a Locum GP to cover ongoing shifts for an esteemed client of ours in Doncaster. The surgery in question is a modern, purpose built centre that caters to the local and surrounding community in providing their patients with the highest quality of medical care. You will be joining a fantastic and friendly clinical team made up of other General Practitioners, Nursing and Administrative Staff who all share a patient centred ethos and welcome anyone with the same work ethic.

The surgery is open seven days a week; open up until early evening, including Bank Holidays. The surgery in question is located in Doncaster Town Centre and is only a short distance from local transport hubs; making it easy to commute to.

To apply for this great position, having prior experience as a GP is preferable, but not desirable.

Requirements for the role:

• Hold a full, clean GMC
• MRCGP (or working towards it)
• Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
• Be on a Performers List
• Have an excellent command of the English language
• Have a full and competent understand of the NHS

Expected duties include:

• Make professional, autonomous decisions
• Provide medical advice for minor injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening
• Support other members of the clinical team
• Complete a variety of duties including completing any relevant paper work
• Provide counselling and health education if required
