Locum Dermatology Consultant - NHS And Private - London:

Job Title: Consultant Dermatologist

National Locums is hiring a Consultant Dermatologist on a locum or full-time basis for an NHS/private hospital setting in London.

Pay rate: between £800-£2000 per day, depending on the candidate's CV.

The successful candidate must be able to see and treat:

• Minor operations
• Botox and fillers
• Biologics
• 2-week wait (2ww) clinics

Main duties of the job

• Take and share clinical responsibilities within the department, which can be part-time, full-time, or weekend-only
• UK visa sponsorship will be provided if needed
• Supervise nurse-led clinics within the department
• Provide management advice for GPs where appropriate

The job plan is based on a 10 PA contract, but applications are encouraged for even 1-2 days per week. Payments can be made via a limited company or self-employed options, through a private service provider. UK experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Knowledge & Skills

• Broad knowledge and experience in medical and surgical dermatology, including management of acute dermatoses
• Interest and expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment

Experience

• Clinical training and experience equivalent to UK CCST in Dermatology
• Ability to offer expert opinions on dermatological problems
• Ability to take full responsibility for patient care
• Experience in supervising and sharing care of patients with chronic skin conditions with nursing and staff
• Supervised training in an appropriate SpR training program or equivalent
