Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will deliver expert clinical care to children with kidney disease, managing both acute emergencies and long term conditions such as dialysis and transplantation. They will lead inpatient and outpatient services, participate in the on call rota, and provide specialist advice across the EMEESY network. The role also involves teaching and supervising junior staff, contributing to clinical governance, audit, and research, and working closely within a multidisciplinary team to drive service development.
