Community Nurse - Full Time Locum (Portishead)

At present, Dream Medical require a Community Nurse for a full-time locum position. This is initially for a minimum of 2 weeks and is due to commence as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Wound care including pressure ulcers
• Venepuncture
• Obtain samples
• Catheterisation - female; useful if also competent in male and suprapubic
• Bandaging
• Holistic assessment

Additional Skills (beneficial)

• Administration of IV's
• Compression bandaging
• Doppler assessments
• Palliative care

Qualifications

You must be an NMC registered Nurse with up-to-date certificates of competencies for the listed skills. You must also have an Enhanced DBS certificate issued within 1 year and up-to-date mandatory training in BLS, Safeguarding, First Aid, Information Governance, and Infection Control.
