Local Government Organisational Design

We are working with a leading Local Authority and have a need for a Organisational Design Lead to join our dynamic leadership team at one of the UK's most forward-thinking local authorities. As Organisational Design Lead, you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of organisational structures that support strategic priorities and service excellence.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align people, processes, and systems with our long-term vision.
• Champion innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the authority.
• Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and measure impact.
• Manage complex change programmes with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in organisational design, transformation, or strategic HR within large, complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
• A deep understanding of public sector challenges and opportunities.
• Expertise in change management, workforce planning, and service redesign.
• A passion for creating inclusive, high-performing environments.
