Roman Way Academy is looking for Community Members to join their Local Governing Body (LGB). This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone from our community to help support our school.

About the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust

Roman Way Academy is based in Royston and is part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust (DLPT), a multi academy trust focused on the provision of top class education.

The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust aims to create schools where every child achieves the highest possible standards through a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning.

As a Trust we work with partners across the sector to seek out, develop, implement and share best practice. We believe passionately in sector led improvement and embrace world class systems, maximise sharing of resources, expertise, knowledge and opportunity within the Diamond family and beyond.

The Trust works collaboratively with its Headteachers; empowering them to develop and embed strategies that will produce the best outcomes for the children in their individual schools.

A Community member, as part of the LGB, will help to ensure that all children at the academy schools are receiving a high-quality education and that they are making rapid progress towards achieving their full potential. It is also part of the role to consider whether resources available to the school are appropriate and deployed effectively.
