Local Authority Year-End Closedown Accountant

Rugby Borough Council is seeking an experienced Technical Year-End / Closedown Accountant to support its year-end closedown programme within a wider financial transformation project. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements and ensuring compliance with local government accounting requirements.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience of local authority closedown, audit liaison experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision during a busy
