Local Authority Housing, Lead Officer - Projects & Development, South West London

Pay rate £450 per day. Contract role, Local Government Housing.

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Head of Development Management in South West London. This is a contract role and you will need to have experience in a similar role.

Overview / Responsibilities

• Leading a Housing Planned Projects Team within the Housing Asset Management Team
• Managing Project Managers, Clerks of Works, Consultants and contractors including the Council's Term contractor Cardo.
• The focus of the team is on refurbishment works within the Council's 6,000+ housing stock
• Some small scale development work (conversions and some infill).
• Projects include Decent Homes, enveloping, compliance programmed works, ex decs etc.
• Working closely with the Asset Data and Compliance Team and Repairs Team to deliver a circa £16m programme.
• Role will also experience of leading major change within a growing team both internally and with partner suppliers.
• Needs to be able to lead an excellent data led approach.
