Apply today!# Job Details This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business.Join our team at Cencora Alloga, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals Location: Derby, (AP8) DE21 2HW Shift Times : Rotating Shifts - / Days: Monday-Friday Salary: £31820.76 Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and develop warehouse loading teams, including performance reviews, training, absence management, discipline, and resource planning to meet operational, financial, and customer requirements. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing Health & Safety standards, managing accidents/near-miss reporting, overseeing fire evacuations, and ensuring only trained staff operate equipment. Oversee compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (GDP, MHRA, GMP, DOT Air Freight Security), ensuring documentation, SOP adherence, housekeeping, and cold chain disciplines are consistently met. Ensure operational accuracy by monitoring behaviours, equipment condition, error reporting, and completion of all loading, transport, driver, and customer documentation. Protect site security by controlling access points, ensuring correct uniform/ID pass use, and responding to key alarms including Liquid Nitrogen activations. Drive effective communication and continuous improvement by delivering briefings, liaising across departments, and encouraging best practice across loading and warehouse operations Competencies: Previous warehouse experience beneficial but not essential Strong leadership skills. Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Proficient in Microsoft products. Excellent communication skills. Confident in addressing and correcting poor performance. Personal Attributes: Strong planning and prioritization skills. Ability to delegate effectively. Flexible approach to work; capable of shift work. Honest and open demeanor. Motivational team leader. Confident, enthusiastic, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
