Live in Nanny for 1yr old nr Woolwich, London

A lovely, welcoming family are looking for a kind, sensible, and nurturing live in nanny to support them as they transition back to work with their young baby boy. The parents are very hands on and devoted to their child, but both have demanding careers and would value the support of a calm and capable nanny to help create a smooth and happy daily routine at home.

The role will involve all typical nanny duties, along with some light housekeeping related to the child and areas you use during the day, such as keeping things tidy, helping with the dishwasher, and occasionally running the hoover over shared spaces. The family are looking for someone who takes a naturally organised and proactive approach, while still keeping the focus on the child's care and wellbeing.

You will have your own comfortable bedroom and private bathroom within the family home, offering a lovely balance of personal space and integration into family life.

The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive, someone who can build a trusting relationship with both parents and child and become a valued part of their home.

Working Hours and Duties

• Hours: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday
• Living arrangements: private bedroom and bathroom in the family home
• Light housekeeping: keep things tidy, help with the dishwasher, occasionally run the hoover over shared spaces
• Primary focus on the child's care and development, supporting parents with their daily routine

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum childcare experience required
• 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate
• Enhanced DBS certificate, registered on the update service
• Minimum of two professional referees - one must be current or last employer, both immediately contactable
• Professional insurance (nanny insurance) is recommended

Location and Compensation

• Location: Plumstead, London
• Pay: £40,000 gross per annum (permanent position)
• Job start: As soon as possible
