An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Live-in Housekeeper to support a lovely private family across their multiple residences in Europe and the UK. The family currently have homes in Surrey and Scandinavia and will be relocating to Rome later this year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout each residence, ensuring the homes are fully prepared ahead of the family's arrival and running smoothly at all times. This is a varied, hands on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy family.
The family have three children aged 8, 6 and 2 years. Whilst this is not a childcare position, the Housekeeper should enjoy being around children and be comfortable working within a family environment.
Key Responsibilities- Full housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard
- Daily cleaning and presentation of all family residences
- Laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
- Wardrobe management, including the care of luxury clothing and accessories
- Cleaning and maintaining fine furniture, delicate surfaces and high value household items
- Packing and unpacking luggage for family travel
- Preparing each residence ahead of the family's arrival
- Planning and preparing nutritious family meals
- Assisting with hosting and entertaining when required
- Monitoring household supplies and replenishing stock
- Ensuring the household remains organised and efficiently managed
- Travelling between the family's residences as required
- Working discreetly whilst maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism
- Previous experience working within formal private households is essential
- Experience caring for luxury finishes, delicate fabrics and specialist household items
