Job Description

Litigation Legal Secretary - Dublin City Centre (Quays) - firm profile. We are seeking a Legal Secretary for our Healthcare Litigation department. You will be part of one of Ireland's unique law firms which offers challenging and rewarding work in a progressive environment.

To be successful in this role you must have prior experience in a similar role, along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will work alongside the Managing Partners P.A.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and organisation of legal documents
  • Formatting briefs, letters, and various legal documents
  • Corresponding with clients
  • Transcribing dictation
  • Diary management
  • Analysing, researching, and summarising legal information
  • Filing, invoicing & general administrative support
  • Other ad hoc activities as required
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 3 years legal secretarial experience in a busy office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital typing speed of 75-80 WPM
  • Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  • Preparation of legal briefs, both soft and hard copy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management (Practice Evolve is used by the firm) - distinct advantage
  • Billing experience is an advantage
  • Medical terminology will give a cutting edge advantage
  • Meticulous eye for detail and accuracy
  • Motivated, able to manage a high workload, multitask and prioritise tasks
