Job Description

We're looking for a Litigation Counsel to play a key role in managing complex legal disputes across multiple jurisdictions, including UAE, UK, EU & Hong Kong. You'll handle litigation strategy, coordinate with local counsels, and contribute to high-stakes legal cases, ensuring the firm's commitment to excellence and integrity.

You'll be a part of the top quantitative trading companies with HQ in Dubai. This is an opportunity to lead complex legal projects, shape company policies & guide the business through evolving legal landscapes.

What will you do in this role?
  • Manage litigation processes across multiple jurisdictions, from drafting pleadings to trial preparation.
  • Draft & file legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research & analysis to develop case strategies.
  • Coordinate with external counsels & regulatory bodies across different regions.
  • Oversee discovery processes, including e-discovery & document reviews.
  • Assist in settlement negotiations & alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses & other legal professionals to build strong cases.
  • Maintain case files & litigation calendars, ensuring seamless case management.
  • Stay up to date on legal developments affecting litigation practices.
About you:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2-5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong knowledge of civil procedure, evidence rules & litigation strategy.
  • Excellent legal research skills, with proficiency in legal databases.
  • Experience with e-discovery platforms & case management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases & deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills for client and court interactions.
