Linux DevOps Engineer

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest Financial Clients, I am seeking for a Linux DevOps Engineer for a position in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The successful candidate will maintain our Security and IAM software stack, deployed essentially on Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory, maintenance and documentation of our Linux servers
• Installation of various IAM and security softwares
• Monitoring Linux operating systems and applications
• Automating machine configuration and software deployments using Ansible
• Configuring high availability and load balancing
• Collaborating with other teams on firewall rules and network settings
• Managing backups
• Rotating SSL certificates

Key Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Strong Linux background and hands on experience
• Familiar with fundamental concepts like DNS, PKI, High Availability
• Experience with log analysis and debugging
• Knowledge and Experience on scripting and Ansible for automation
• Knowledge and Experience on application servers : Apache, tomcat
• Experience working in an Agile SCRUM setup
• Enjoy working in a culturally and geographically diverse workforce

Contract: 6+ months

Rates: Excellent

Interview: 2 stages, 1 technical + 1 assessment
