This is a *Netherlands - Onsite* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Consulting company working on *Leading & supporting end-to-end software and data migrations to a private cloud platform*

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support end-to-end software and data migrations to a private cloud platform.
• Install, configure, and maintain complex applications, both web-based and enterprise-grade (BI, CRM, GIS).
• Manage the technical life cycle of applications, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Write and maintain detailed low-level designs (LLD), technical documentation, and installation manuals.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on networking, Firewalls, DNS, virtualization, and identity management (LDAP).
• Work closely with developers and architects to containerize applications (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Apply OS-level hardening and implement appropriate security frameworks and compliance controls.
• Ensure platform services (storage, networking, access) align with application performance and reliability needs.
• Support and configure Middleware platforms (eg, Tomcat, WebLogic, JBOSS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with web Servers, databases, and application dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in technical application management or software/data migration
• Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows Server OS
• Familiarity with Middleware like Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBOSS
• Experience supporting web Servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS)
• Solid database knowledge - MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Exposure to application architectures - monoliths, microservices, SOA
• Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus)
• Confident working in environments with Firewalls, DNS, LDAP, virtualisation
• Skilled in writing low-level documentation and install guides
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and system hardening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in government, finance, or other highly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of Scripting (eg, Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Puppet).
• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools (eg, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional technical team.
• Structured problem-solving and critical thinking mindset.
• Fluent in English & Dutch
