Job Opportunity: STEM Subject Matter Expert - AI Content Localization (Welsh)

We are seeking knowledgeable STEM professionals to support a project involving the review of academic and technical materials. This freelance opportunity allows you to contribute your subject-matter expertise to ensure the accuracy and clarity of specialized content in Welsh.

Role Overview:

As a STEM Subject Matter Expert, you will collaborate on the review of academic-level content across scientific and technical disciplines. The role involves ensuring the accuracy and clarity of complex concepts and terminology, particularly within documents using LaTeX formatting (commonly used in scientific and mathematical texts).

This is a remote, freelance position.

Requirements:

  • Native Welsh speaker

  • Degree in a STEM-related field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of scientific and technical terminology

  • Familiarity with LaTeX document structure and formatting

  • Experience in academic or technical writing, translation, or education is a strong plus
