Lift Service & Callout Engineer

We are an independent lift company who manufacture, install, service, repair and refurbish lifts.

We are looking to recruit a full time experienced Service, Maintenance and Call out Engineer to assist in our day to day operations, including the call out rota with standby allowance and overtime guaranteed

Ideally, we are looking for someone living in South West or Bristol and Bath area to cover a Service route based in this area or surrounding areas

They must possess a full valid driving licence and a current relevant CSCS card would be preferential but not essential.

The successful candidate would have a DBS check completed on them.

We offer 25 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Be excellent at fault finding, with great diagnostic skills

Carry out maintenance visits and call outs

Participate in our 24 Hour weekly call out Rota 4 times per year

Carry out minor repair works as necessary

Manage and organise your own service route

Person specific:

The successful candidate must ideally be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering Maintenance, or be currently working towards it, with a comprehensive engineering background.

Significant experience of all types and makes of lift is essential, as is the ability to possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

Some experience of computers or PDA use is essential as you will be required to use our computerised system to log calls and servicing also access all the relevant customer information - Full training will be provided.

Comfortable working on their own and have the ability to manage their own time efficiently.
