Lifelong Learning Assistant Administrator

The Diocese of York is the Church of England between the Rivers Humber and Tees, and from the Yorkshire coast westwards to around the A1. We are seeking to Live Christ's Story (LCS) by becoming more like Christ, reaching people we currently don't, growing churches of missionary disciples, and transforming our finances and structures.

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Assistant Administrator to join our Lifelong Learning Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting continuing ministerial development and training events, working alongside a committed and dynamic team.

About the Role

You will provide essential general office support, working closely with the Senior Administrator and Academic Registrar, and reporting directly to the Head of Lifelong Learning. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the smooth delivery of various team projects
  • Handling enquiries and directing them to the appropriate contacts
  • Coordinating and managing event bookings
  • Maintaining accurate records using spreadsheets and our Contact Management System
  • Offering administrative support to staff, tutors, volunteers, and students
