Lifeguard

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

Work arrangement

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week; you work on an ad hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

Qualifications

• Hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Maintain ongoing training records.
• Possess enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Be passionate about great customer care and a real team player.
