Job Title: Lifeguard Location: Holmleigh Park Job Type: Permanent Salary: £12.71 per hour Hours: 30 hours Rota

Sample Week Schedule
  • Monday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Tuesday: Off
  • Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:45 AM - 2:15 PM
Role Overview

As a Lifeguard you are calm and confident, potentially you could save a life, and you will help keep people safe. You will need to feel comfortable controlling the pool area and challenging inappropriate behaviour. You are not the type to panic under pressure and compromise the safety of others.

You can perform rescues, deliver first aid, and have difficult conversations with customers who are not acting safely. Training and qualifications will be provided to equip you for these responsibilities.

You are looking for a chance to progress and work to a regular rota pattern. As our next Lifeguard you'll provide safe supervision of customers in poolside locations and be responsible for preventing serious injuries or accidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and maintain safety around the pool
  • Respond to emergencies and perform rescues
  • Deliver first aid as required
  • Enforce pool rules and manage inappropriate behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
  • National Pool Lifeguard qualification or ability to pass the course
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development
