Licensed Practical Nurse page is loaded Licensed Practical Nurselocations: 5301-Prestontime type: Variable timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-435 Job Description: Purpose:To provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Qualifications: Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status Must possess basic computer skills Must possess current and valid license for Practical Nurse Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferredEssential Functions: Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual's plan ensuring each individual's optimal health and wellbeing Performs tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasks Ensures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulations Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventory Collaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being met Communicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisor Performs all other duties as assignedThis position will remain open until filled.
