Job Description THE ROLE Class 1 Drivers

EV Cargo are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team on Days or Nights at our depot in Ashby de La Zouch.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days or nights.

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

We have a package which includes a competitive salary, as well as benefits.

THE SALARY

4 on 4 off Nights = £746.75 Per Week = £38,831 P/A Basic

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

H&S of themselves and other road users

Ensuring all units & trailers are checked before and after shift.

Load security.

Load security includes strapping using internal and ratchet strapping.

Delivering to all parts of the UK.

Paperwork is completed correctly & efficiently.

Representing EV Cargo.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Experience in Class 1 role but not essential as mentoring can be provided.

C+E licence.
