THE COMPANY

Maltaward is a thriving and successful concrete barrier and construction equipment supply company, based in Faygate, West Sussex. We are looking for an Artic / 8 Wheeler LGV Hiab Driver to join our successful and established team.

THE ROLE

An experienced Artic / 8 Wheeler LGV Hiab Driver with forklift experience.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, this key position will give you the opportunity to join a team of self-motivated and independent drivers delivering our services nationwide.

The key Roles & Responsibilities for the role of the LGV Artic /Hiab Driver Installer include:
Loading off loading and installing equipment, primarily concrete security blocks.
Operation of Hiab crane and or Moffett forklift truck.
Complying with National and Company driving legislation and policies.
Delivery and collections from nationwide locations.
Some nights out required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Educational Attainment
Good level of education in Maths and English

Professional Experience required:
Clean Drivers Licence
Forklift and Hiab operational experience required.

Technical Knowledge required:
Understanding of SatNav and a Drivers App Software use.
Email and digital communications.

Personal Qualities:
Ability to work independently.
Sense of humour
Personal initiative, flexible and a proactive approach to work
Ability to develop working relationships with customers and represent the Company professionally.
