Level 4 Sports Coach Apprentice.

The successful candidate will hold a dual-site role, providing high-quality educational support across both Brockmoor Primary and Brierley Hill Primary schools within the Black Country Federation.

The Role

The Sports Coach apprentice plays an important role in improving the health and wellbeing of children, families, and communities by delivering fun, inclusive, and engaging activities. They will use extensive technical and tactical sports knowledge to design and deliver coaching programmes that engage, motivate, and evolve participants' skills.

During this programme, apprentices will engage in training to enhance their coaching skills, equipping them to work in various environments with a range of stakeholders. Additionally, there is a unique opportunity to develop classroom practice and teaching skills to deliver whole-class PE lessons.

The post holder will be subject to Dudley MBC 'Safer Recruitment Practices.' The offer of the post is subject to obtaining satisfactory Enhanced DBS clearance, self-disclosure (as determined by the Department for Education), references, and a health check.

Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out online searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
