Level 3/Degree Qualified Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an ambitious teaching assistant looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? We are seeking experienced and passionate Level 3/Degree Qualified Primary Teaching Assistants for our Market Rasen area based primary schools.

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary schools that require dedicated Level 3/Degree Qualified Primary Teaching Assistants. There are a range of full and part time roles available to enhance your skills, knowledge and experience as a Teaching Assistant.

Main Duties

• Support the class teacher to plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students so as to facilitate progression in students' learning.
• Support the learning of students in lessons as directed by the class teacher, including small group teaching and full class cover.
• Facilitate the exceptional progress and well-being of any individual or group of students; provide guidance and advice to students on
• educational and social matters.
• Promote and maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and behaviour policy of the academy.
• Use formative assessment to adapt teaching and the work of students to make sure that learning is proceeding in the right direction and to support that learning.
• Communicate effectively with the class teacher/s and SENDCo to share students' learning.
• Support students during playtime and lunchtime in the playground.
• Contribute towards and maintain high quality displays and an engaging learning environment.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or similar needs
• Possess energy and enthusiasm
• Works well within a team
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A passion for making a difference in children's lives
• Previous experience in a school or child-centred setting

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience in a similar role
• An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal right to work in the UK
