Level 3 Teaching Assistant

32.5 hours per week

The Wulfruna Partnership are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Merridale Primary School's team.

Applications are welcome from candidates who can demonstrate substantial, recent experience working within a primary school setting, with proven experience supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 2.

We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who:

• has NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• is experienced and confident supporting pupils with the KS2 curriculum, including literacy and numeracy, and will have experience working with whole classes, small groups and individual pupils.
• has first aid training (or is willing to undergo training)
• has experience of working with children with additional needs and those presenting challenging behaviours
• has a good standard of Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills. Can communicate well.
• has the skills, knowledge and experience to be able build positive relationships to support all children to meet their goals and needs
• is resilient and passionate about the social, emotional and mental well-being of young people
• is dedicated, creative, reflective, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• can work effectively as part of a team and is committed to raising standards for all children
• provides a positive, safe, supportive learning environment
• has a proven ability to work with increased autonomy and responsibility
