Primary School Greater Manchester Long-Term Role Aspire People

Aspire People is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND within a mainstream primary school setting.

This role involves working closely with pupils who require additional academic, emotional, or behavioural support, including children with ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
• Delivering targeted interventions linked to EHCP targets
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Encouraging independence and confidence
• Maintaining clear records of progress and support

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 TA qualification (essential)
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Strong understanding of inclusion and differentiation
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Confident supporting pupils with varying needs
