Level 3 Personal Training Apprentice

Honeys Training Club is a modern strength and conditioning facility dedicated to helping people of all ages and abilities become stronger, healthier and more confident. Alongside our established community, apprentices will gain hands on experience in gym instruction, personal training, functional fitness and member support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to develop into a qualified Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer. You will work alongside experienced coaches, support members on the gym floor and learn every aspect of running a successful fitness facility.

Responsibilities

• Gym inductions/viewings
• Support members on the gym floor
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness
• Assist with classes
• Learn exercise technique and programme design
• Reception and customer service
• Social media support
• Health & Safety
• Complete apprenticeship coursework

Entry requirements

• Passion, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are more important.
• GCSE English and Maths grade 4 preferred.

• Physical fitness

• Customer care skills

Training to be provided

• Level 3 Personal Trainer
• Level 2 Gym (if required)
• Functional Skills (if required)

Things to consider

Due to the nature of the industry your hours will include early, late and weekend shifts so flexibility is essential.

Opportunity for a permanent role within Honeys Training Club upon successful completion.

• Working week: Mon-Sun with 2 days off across all open hours. Likely to be from 3pm-10pm
• Duration: 18 Months
• Apprenticeship standard: Personal trainer (Level 3)
