Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Nordic Play Leader

We are looking for an experienced, inspiring Level 3 Practitioners to join Nordic Star Nursery, our beautiful, modern, Nordic-inspired flagship nursery in Islington.

Nordic Star is the first nursery in the UK to implement a truly Nordic approach to early education, in partnership with FinlandWay . Our pedagogy is rooted in play, participation, well-being, and child-led learning, while remaining fully aligned with the EYFS statutory framework.

About the Role

• Support Ofsted readiness, reflective practice, and continuous improvement
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Champion the FinlandWay philosophy alongside the EYFS

We are looking for someone who has: Essential

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or above)
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience working with children aged 3 months to 4 years
• Strong working knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
• Excellent organisation skills, reliability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• The ability to work flexibly, adapt to change, and use initiative
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both families and colleagues
