Caslon Primary Community School is a single form entry school with on site nursery provision located in Cradley on the outskirts of Halesowen. We also have a specialist unit for children with social emotional and mental health needs and an Early Years Inclusion Hub.

Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant starting in the Summer term. The post is 32.5 hours per week and the working pattern is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm and Wednesday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. The post will be based in Early Years, initially in our nursery setting working with our two to three year old children.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of the curriculum and care of two to three year old children in the nursery setting, ensuring a well organised, calm and secure environment that encourages outstanding behaviour and treats each person fairly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Medical clearance and enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

• Must provide documentation proving right to work in the UK; Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the right to work.

Interview Details

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 16th March 2026. Candidates invited to interview will be required to prepare a 15-20 minute activity for a group of children aged between two and three years.
