Job Description

Our client is a well-regarded clean air company known for their provision of a range of HVAC and building services to a diverse client base. They are currently recruiting for a knowledgeable and experienced LEV / Validation Engineer based in and around the Swindon area. The ideal applicant will hold P601 certification and will have experience in carrying out installation, testing and maintenance on LEV systems as well as experience in testing Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 fume cupboards. Experience carrying out clean room validations will also be beneficial to this role. Applications from, Chippenham, Warminster, Salisbury, and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must hold the P601 LEV testing certificate.
  • Applicant must have hands on experience undertaking the testing, installation, and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
  • Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards is essential.
  • Proven track record of validating and verifying ventilation systems in accordance with HTM 03-01 regulations.
  • Carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
  • Must have experience producing technical service reports.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Responsibilities of the Role
  • The work will involve undertaking local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations, and maintenance on a varied site base.
  • Testing Emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
  • Collating and producing accurate technical reports.
  • Providing a consultancy service to clients, advising on technical reports and further services.
  • Undertaking fume cupboard examinations.
  • Carrying out airflow and pressure measurements, microbiological air sampling, noise and environmental measurements, auditing of Air Handling Units (AHUs) and re-balancing airflows.
  • Carrying out clean room validations.
  • Carrying DOP and HEPA testing.
  • Visiting sites designated by the client and dealing with issues effectively.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  • Presentations to staff, company, and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
  • Building and maintaining a professional working rapport with clients.
