Job Description

Leisure

The Leisure team at The Belfry Hotel & Resort look after the perfect place to keep fit and stay active with some of the best fitness equipment and facilities in the area. Our expert team are always on hand to welcome our guests and provide fitness advice, personal training sessions and fitness classes.

Salary

The on-target earning potential for this role is a £15,974.40 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £15,238.08 supplemented by an estimated £736.32 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.

About the role

This role is 24 hours a week and will be 3 days out of 7.

As a Leisure Club Housekeeper

your role will be to promote a clean, welcoming and professional environment for all members and guests using the facilities within the health club at The Belfry.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Deep cleaning tasks on a weekly basis
  • Maintaining cleanliness of male and female changing rooms, showers, empty towel bins and keep check of towel stock
  • Ensuring all stock is available including soaps, toilet rolls and tissues
  • Work with the Leisure Manager and Team Leaders to develop, improve and maintain procedures in the club, to ensure its smooth running on a day to day basis
  • To ensure any maintenance issues are reported correctly and monitor repair
  • To identify opportunities to improve club cleanliness and standards
  • To ensure al health and safety practices are being observed and work with the operations manager to ensure that we are adhering to relevant policies and legislation

About you

Previous experience in a leisure environment is not required, however some customer service experience and having worked in a fast paced environment would be useful. We are always looking for someone who:
