Legal Secretary Dublin

We are currently recruiting for a leading Irish commercial law firm seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy corporate team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected firm, working alongside experienced legal professionals on high-quality corporate matters in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support to the corporate team, ensuring the smooth management of files, documentation, billing and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level legal secretarial and administrative support to the corporate team.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of legal files using the firm's case management system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation.
  • Prepare legal documents, correspondence and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate monthly client billing, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
  • Manage complex diaries, scheduling meetings and resolving conflicts.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, counsel and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
  • Process time entries and expense claims.
  • Ensure all documentation is produced accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a Corporate department.
  • Experience supporting senior legal professionals in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Experience using a legal case management system such as iManage or similar.
  • Experience using a legal billing system (KeyHouse or equivalent is advantageous).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, professional and positive approach to work.
