Legal Secretary - Litigation

Our Litigation team are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team in our Hartlepool office.

The Litigation team in our Hartlepool office, are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary, to support the department by providing secretarial and administrative support to the fee earners to enable them to deliver a friendly and responsive service to their clients.

The role is office based, and the hiring managers are open to part time or full time applications (minimum of 2.5 days required per week). Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

• Full generic secretarial support to fee earners, as required, including preparing correspondence and documents through fast and accurate audio-typing and word processing.
• Client contact on telephone and in person, dealing with queries such as initial enquiries, client progress updates and taking messages for fee earners, providing such support in a professional and friendly manner in-keeping with the Firm's standards for client care.
• Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up-to-date diary for fee earners.
• Opening, maintaining and closing files on case management system.
• Storing and retrieving client files.
• Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch.
• Providing support to other secretaries as required.

Experience of working in a legal environment is essential.
