Our client is a global energy company headquartered in London, operating across oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors. The legal operations team supports the global legal function, focusing on technology, data strategy, and process optimisation. They work across multiple regions including the UK, US, and Asia, and are currently undergoing significant transformation in legal technology and operations.

What does the client need help with?

The client needs support due to upcoming projects and delays in permanent hiring. They require someone to manage legal technology projects and process improvements while they recruit for a permanent position later in the year.

What will the role involve?

• You will act as a Legal Project Manager for technology-related projects across the legal function.
• You will manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication for multiple projects.
• You will coordinate with global teams in London, Chicago, and Houston to ensure alignment.
• You will oversee project governance and ensure milestones are met.
• You will support data strategy initiatives, including integration and reporting requirements.
• You will help lay foundations for long-term legal technology projects while permanent hires are onboarded.

What skills do they need?

They need a Legal Project Manager with experience in legal technology implementation and project delivery. Strong skills in project planning, stakeholder management, and process optimisation are essential. Familiarity with legal operations and tools such as iManage, NetDocs, and PowerBI is highly desirable. Experience working in large, global organisations and managing complex projects across multiple regions is important.
