Legal IT Systems Infrastructure Engineer (Azure, MS365, Cisco Networking)

A US led law firm are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with 5+ years experience and in-depth knowledge of Azure, MS 365 and Cisco networking to join their London IT Team. You will be the sole IT Systems Engineer in London so will need to be able to work on your own initiative whilst working in Tandem with the Systems Engineer team in the US office.

This role is responsible for:

• Designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure including virtual networks, storage, identity, and security services.
• Administering and optimizing the Microsoft 365 stack including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune.
• Implementing and maintaining Cisco networking solutions including routing, switching, Firewalls, VPNs and wireless infrastructure as well as Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and security platforms.
• Monitoring system performance, availability, and security across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead troubleshooting and support efforts for complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Collaborating with the cybersecurity team to implement best practices for data protection, compliance, and threat mitigation.
• Maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise to the role so will need 5+ years proven experience in a similar Systems Engineer role gained within a law firm or similar professional services environment where uptime, confidentiality and high level performance are critical and possessing a security-first mindset.

The role is based 3 days a week in the London office but flexibility is required.
