Eligibility

The internship is specifically designed for law students in the later stages of their academic journey. Candidates currently in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of law school are eligible to apply. Since the work requires handling sensitive financial matters, students with strong analytical abilities, a keen interest in consumer and banking law, and a sense of professional responsibility will be preferred. Communication skills and the ability to draft precise legal documents are key requirements. Applicants must also be open to working in an in office environment at Noida, ensuring full participation and practical exposure throughout the internship period.

Role and Responsibilities

Interns at Emkay Solutions will work closely on real cases within the field of debt settlement and banking law. Responsibilities include interacting with clients to understand their financial issues, offering guidance on legal remedies available under RBI guidelines, and suggesting settlement strategies. Interns will gain experience in negotiating with lenders and recovery agents, sharpening problem solving and advocacy skills. Drafting legal notices, agreements, and formal replies to recovery communications will also be part of the role. This hands on exposure equips students with a deep understanding of client handling, dispute resolution, and practical legal application in financial matters.
